Originally from the UK (hence the funny accent) Lucy started diving when she moved to the US in the mid 90’s. Her passion for teaching and diving collided when she took over Columbia Scuba in 1999. Conrad started diving in 1978 after watching SeaHunt. His first Carribbean trip was to Cozumel and it is still a favorite. He greatly enjoys Underwater Photography and one of his greatest thrills to date was photographing the giant Manta Rays in Palau - his dream dive destination.
As Course Director, Conrad heads up the instructor training at Columbia Scuba.

Affectionately known around the store as "Cuz" Rick loves to participate in any dives involving "gadgets" or new "Toys" as can be seen from his list of specialties. He loves to dive in the Islands and we are not quite sure but think he may well be part Pirate!
Rick is our Service Technician and is a certified technician for Mares, Sherwood, Genesis, and Oceanic Equipment.

Name: Sam Rubinson Post: Instructor Instructor No. Sam is an all around adventure guy, in fact he teaches adventure education at Columbia International University. When not teaching Scuba he can often be found hanging from a cliff, whizzing down the slopes, or paddling some rapids with his family, who all share his love of the outdoors. His two oldest sons are certified divers, and he hopes the younger ones will join in as soon as they are old enough.

Name: Clay Patrick

Clay learned to dive on a cruise, and was hooked. On returning to the States he continued his passion and became a PADI Master Scuba Diver before completing his professional training at Columbia Scuba.
His Wife, Elise is a Dive Master and both his kids are certified divers too.

Name: Steve White Post: Instructor Instructor No. 235180
Steve got into diving with a buddy in Lake Murray in 1978, and decades later is still diving Lake Murray with his students. He was one of the founding members of the Richland County Sheriffs Dept. Dive Team, and was captain of the unit from 1995 to 2004. Steve is a certified Cavern Diver, and has been diving in many of Florida's Springs, as well as throughout the Caribbean and the Red Sea.

You'll see "Denny" doing anything that needs to be done around the store...filling tanks, plumbing, etc., etc. When he is not serving with the Army National Guard. There is never a dull moment when he is around - he loves to work with the Rescue Diver classes and play pranks on the candidates!
